On 6-9 June, all eyes in Europe will be focused on the elections for the European Parliament. Together with other European Institutions, the EP decides upon important themes such as migration, climate change and economic policies. Issues that cannot be faced by just the national states. But what do you actually know about Europe? What are the current issues that need to be addressed as a European community? And what does the Euopean future look like? Curious to find out more about the European Union? Visit Festival Europa 2024, organised by Utrecht University. The event takes place at the city cente library of Utrecht (Bibliotheek Neude) and it is free to attend. Together with scientists, politicians, journalists and artists, we take a look at the most pressing issues facing the European Union and think about the best possible future for Europe and its citizens.
