Europe Direct Sardinia will organise the European Week from the 8th to the 10th of October in Sardinia. TDM 2000 International is invited to present the project 'Changemakers for European Democracy'. The project is co-funded by the European Parliament and aims to promote and strengthen European democracy and citizenship at the continental level. It seeks to foster the development of a political community consisting of active European and transnational citizens while catalysing positive changes in European policy through the efforts of civil society actors, with a particular focus on the involvement of young people. During the conference, TDM 2000 International will explain the aim of the project, its different activities and how the people present in the room can join the project, including by joining the together.eu community. A part will be dedicated to how the EU influences youngsters' everyday lives, and hence the importance of voting and being an active citizen.
