In our digital era, disinformation threatens the safety of civic space and the capacity of citizens in participating in democratic processes. EU elections are approaching and, this June, we will be called to elect the new European Parliament representing us for the next five years. Join us for the workshop “Disinformation: how to recognise it and act against it” to learn how to navigate the complex landscape of disinformation ahead of the 2024 EU elections. What to expect?

🔹 Understand disinformation and its evolution in the digital era

🔹 Explore the intersection of disinformation and Artificial Intelligence

🔹 Gain hands-on understanding on fake-news creation in electoral campaigns by using AI tools

The workshop will be hosted by Inter Alia and facilitated by Kostas Karpouzis, Assistant Professor at the Department of Communication, Media and Culture, Panteion University.
