Language matters: ISO clear language standard-a tool for us all
Clear language is valuable for businesses, governments and citizens. We may all speak and write in different languages, but we can all apply clear language to whatever language we use and make our messages clearer all over the world.
In June 2023, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) published a standard that breaks down what clear language is and how we can apply it. This standard can help you provide our intended readers with the information they can easily find, understand, and use.
At this event, the people closely involved in developing the standard will talk about what clear language is and is not and how the standard can be a useful tool for anybody who wants to communicate with clarity and impact.
