Join the event on 4 October
This year on 13 December, in Strasbourg the European Parliament will award the Sakharov Prize.
Join us at the European Parliament in Strasbourg on 13 December for a number of events dedicated to the 2023 Sakharov Prize and to the role of the Parliament and civil society as human rights defenders.
You will have the possibility to meet directly with this year’s Sakharov prize laureate and finalists (or their representatives), to attend the award ceremony and other events proposed by our team in cooperation with other EP services and spread to your networks the messages about the Sakharov Prize and its laureate.
Please read below important information related to the travelling:
- The programme is foreseen for 13 December for the full day (including the Sakharov Prize Ceremony).
- You will have to travel on 12 December to Strasbourg and come back to Brussels on 14 December.
- We will take care of the organisation and the cost of your travel and accommodation in Strasbourg.
Please note that the places are reserved for one person per organisation.
As the places are limited, places will be allocated on first come first served.
The deadline for the registration: 10 October.
