ROMA150 is a web portal created to promote and disseminate knowledge of modern and contemporary Rome. It offers to users free access to cartographic, photographic, audiovisual and textual material on Rome in the period 1870 – 2020. The cultural approach of the project leverages the idea of interactive exploration of the city and shared historical narration based on public history criteria. The transformation events, the stories of the places and people who have lived and worked in Rome over the years are collected by ROMA150 through a WebGis system developed to integrate territorial information of a historical nature with different levels of spatial and informative detail.
