We are delighted to invite you to join us in person or online on 14-15 June for an exciting international event: Fostering Innovation Towards a More Sustainable Forest Sector in Europe. This is the final two-day hybrid event of the EU ROSEWOOD4.0 project, focused on digitalisation in forestry, that will be held at the Sant Pau Art Nouveau site in Barcelona, Spain, but will also be streamed online. The event will consist of three independent sessions with engaging presentations, roundtable discussions and networking opportunities. Attendees can decide whether to participate in the whole event or only register for one of the sessions below: Session I - The ROSEWOOD4.0 project: main results & outcomes (14 June. 9:30 - 13:00 CEST). This session will focus on the work developed by the ROSEWOOD4.0 network to date and its future prospects for long-term sustainability. Session II - How to ensure long-term sustainability of networks once the project is over? Tools and methods (14 June. 14:00 - 18:00 CEST). Guest speakers representing European Commission's DG AGRI, Forest Europe, EFI Bioregions Facility, EU FarmBook and other successful European initiatives will be present. Session III - Working groups: foster innovation towards a more sustainable forest sector - an open space market (15 June. 9:30 - 13:00 CEST). Working groups will be set up and different partners and institutions from all over Europe will have the chance to look for synergies and collaborations for future European projects or international initiatives. Deadline for registrations: 12 June 2022 (online attendance)
